What type of storage facility is this?
We want to make the process easy for you without having to go in, fill out a ton of forms, or deal with a grumpy attendant. You have full control. You fill everything out online, pay, get your access info, and access your storage unit.
What if I need to speak with someone?

How do I get my storage unit access if this is all done online?
You start the process on our website, fill out the paperwork, pay for the unit you wish to rent, and you will receive all the information you need via email and/or text. You will get the access code to the main gate, your unit number, a map to where your unit is located, and instructions on how to secure your items. This is all done, before you even head over to our facility.
What if I the access code I get doesn't work?
No worries. We aren't perfect, but we will certainly help you get access. Once you contact our number one of our reps will go through your information and ensure you have the right access code.
Are all of your units the same size?
We have a variety of shapes and sizes dependant upon your need.
Are your units climate controlled?
No - this should be something you keep in mind when storing your items.
Do you have 24/7 video surveillance?
Yes, this is what helps our facility be managed online.
Do you provide RV and Boat storage?
No. Our facility only provides storage for boxes, furniture, and other household or business items.
Will you provide moving caddies?
No. Since our facility is hands off and all done online, we do not have the capacity to provide moving caddies at this time.
Will there be any staff on duty at your facility?
Barker Storage is fully automated, so there's no front office to wait on - you rent, pay, and move in straight from your phone. There's always a real person behind the facility, though: call or text and someone from our family team gets back to you fast.
Are your storage units insured?
Insurance for stored items works the same way it does at most self-storage facilities: your belongings stay covered by your own policy. Many renter's and homeowner's policies already extend to items in a storage unit - confirm with your provider before move-in, and ask about low-cost storage coverage if you'd like extra protection.
The facility itself is secured with gated keypad access and video surveillance.
Is there any electricity or lights in the units?
Due to safety reasons none of our units have electricity or lighting. We recommend you use the light of day or a flashlight as needed.
